Kenya Airways Increases Flights to Kisumu

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 17 – Kenya Airways has increased flight frequency from Nairobi to Kisumu over the weekend to accommodate the high travel demand to Raila Odinga’s burial.

The increase comes as high number of mourners and international delegation are expected to travel for final send off of Kenya’s former Prime Minister Hon. Odinga in Bondo on Sunday 19th 2025.

According to a statement by the National Carrier, On Friday, 17 Oct: Additional flights KQ656 (1330 HRS) and KQ658 (1900 HRS)

Saturday, 18 Oct: Additional flight KQ650 (0650 HRS) , KQ654 (0805 HRS) upgraded to Boeing 737

Sunday, 19 Oct: KQ654 (0805 HRS)upgraded to Boeing 737.KQ671 (1900 HRS) upgraded to Boeing 737

Monday, 20th Oct: KQ 654 upgraded to Boeing 737KQ670 upgraded to Boeing 737.
