Adidas Originals brought by WAMA International Group opens its first store in Kenya

Adidas Originals brought to Kenya by WAMA International Group has expanded its retail presence in the country with the opening of new store at Westgate mall in westlands, Nairobi the group has more than 30+ stores with a massive expansion plan across the region.

The global sportswear brand opened its doors to the public on 4th April 2025 and kicked off with a launch party featuring a variety of different entertainment, Djs, sneaker customisation and a celebration of culture for guests who attended.

The new store aims to elevate retail experience and offer Adidas Original products which include lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories for both men and women the store is located at first floor of Westgate mall.

“It has been a great experience to partner with WAMA group and bring the first original standalone store to Nairobi, As a brand we are committed to growing our brand presence in Africa and positively contributing to the communities that we operate in”, said Brett Burgess, Senior Director Africa Export, EM South.

In addition the opening reflected brands commitment to creativity, inclusion, sustainability and innovation with a blend of local flair.

Adidas Originals have placed more focus on Africa while tailoring and adapting to local customers offering products and experience that resonate with city’s culture along with cutting-edge design.
