NAIROBI, Kenya, June 28 – Gor Mahia Football Club has signaled a new era of structural expansion with the official unveiling of the Kahawa Royalties Branch.

Touted by stakeholders as a blueprint for modern sports administration, the new branch is engineered to streamline fan engagement, drive grassroots professionalism and aggressively scale the club’s socio-economic presence throughout the greater Nairobi area.

The highly anticipated unveiling took place on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Kasneb Towers in Upper Hill, Nairobi where it drew attendance of Gor Mahia’s staunch branch officials, club supporters and football stakeholders.

At the helm of the newly launched branch is Mr. Duncan Onyango, a respected Gor Mahia supporter and mobilizer who has been unveiled as the branch’s patron.

His appointment has been met with widespread enthusiasm from the fanbase, with many confident that his deep-rooted passion, tactical vision and dedication to grassroots football development will elevate the branch into a powerhouse within the club’s wider network.
