HassConsult Scales ‘Elevate’ Concept as Social Well-Being Drives Kenya’s Residential Value

NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 26 – As rapid digital adoption moves everyday life onto screens, everyday community life across Kenya is becoming increasingly fragmented, real estate firm HassConsult is expanding its innovative resident experience platform, Elevate by Hass, transforming traditional residential developments into connected, active communities.

Data highlights a clear shift in lifestyle patterns with Global Web Index (GWI) reports that Kenyans spend more hours on social media than any other nation with 20% averaging over six hours daily and ranks Kenyans as the world’s heaviest AI users.

Further, Gallup data reveals that 26% of Kenyan employees experienced significant loneliness the previous day.As food delivery, banking, work, and entertainment become fully remote, traditional neighborhood interactions are disappearing.

Research from the Global Wellness Institute shows that individuals with access to intentional social infrastructure are more than three times as likely to have close friends (32% versus 9%).

Globally, this need has fueled a major economic trend: Fact.MR values the Social Connection Services Market at $1.5 billion in 2026, projecting a 33.8% annual growth rate over the next decade.

HassConsult recognized this shift early, beginning a structural rethink of its property model in 2017. Leveraging its end-to-end role across research, development, sales, and property management, the firm added resident experience and hospitality as a core fifth operational pillar.

“The traditional measures of residential value location, size, specification are no longer the full picture. When residents genuinely belong to where they live, it shows up commercially,” said Farhana Hassanali, Co-CEO and Development Director at HassConsult.

First piloted at Enaki Town, the Elevate by Hass platform turns physical amenities into year-round active programming spanning fitness, wellness, dining, work, and community events:

● Specialized Partnerships: Features a purpose-built movement studio operated by Yves Preissler and an Artcaffé marketplace designed as a neighborhood hub.

● Active Engagement: Delivered 34 curated resident events, 597 health and fitness sessions (with a 97% slot fill rate), and hosted 11 resident-led events.

● Commercial Performance: Artcaffé’s Enaki location outperformed initial financial expectations by 300% due to repeated resident visits.

The strategy is driving strong real estate metrics. Enaki’s completed first phase of 440 apartments has reached 92% occupancy, with waitlists for fully occupied unit types.

Building on this momentum, HassConsult has broken ground on its second phase, Enaki Forestside centered around a 23,000 sq ft private forest which sold 50% of its homes within four months of launch.

HassConsult is now scaling the Elevate platform across its broader portfolio, positioning social infrastructure and curated resident experience as vital drivers of long-term property value.

“The design brief of the future has to include human connection as an outcome,” added Sakina Hassanali, Co-CEO and Creative Director at HassConsult.”

“What draws people out of their homes and keeps them coming back cannot be left to chance. It must be designed, programmed, and sustained.”
