NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 19 – The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University is marking a significant milestone in its history as it celebrates 90 years of service, love, and spiritual empowerment.

To honor this anniversary, Brahma Kumaris branches across Kenya will host a public program on 21 September 2026 centered around the theme: “Call of God: Come Home.”

Founded in 1936, the Brahma Kumaris has developed an international network offering meditation, spiritual education and programmes focused on personal development and values-based living.

Its 90th anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on that journey while also looking ahead.

For nine decades, the organization has dedicated itself to inspiring humanity to rediscover its core spiritual identity through Raja Yoga meditation, character building, and self-transformation.

The upcoming public event addresses a fundamental human pursuit: the search for enduring peace and purpose amidst the fast-paced demands of modern life.

According to Brahma Kumaris teachings, “home” extends beyond a physical address. It refers to the Soul World a silent, tranquil dimension beyond the physical realm where every individual exists as a pure, peaceful spiritual entity.

Over time, as individuals navigate daily responsibilities, relationships and societal roles, body-consciousness often replaces spiritual awareness, leading to stress, conflict and a sense of detachment from one’s original nature.

The “Call of God” initiative serves as a reminder to turn inward and reconnect with these inherent qualities: Search for peace – Peace is the soul’s original, innate nature.

Desire for unconditional love – Attained through connection with the Supreme Source.

Need for inner strength- Awakened when shifting from physical to soul identity At the core of the 21 September event is the practice of Raja Yoga meditation.

Unlike physical yoga disciplines, Raja Yoga focuses on directing thought energy inward to connect the human mind directly with the Supreme Soul (God).

Practitioners emphasize that this spiritual path does not require withdrawing from societal duties or family life. Instead, it offers mental tools to elevate daily interactions and decision-making.

Additionally key Event Highlights: Interactive Spiritual Discourse: Understanding the journey from temporary identity to eternal self-awareness.

Guided Meditation: Experiencing quietude and connecting with the Supreme Soul as an ocean of peace.

Community Alignment: Exploring how personal transformation contributes directly to family stability and broader societal peace.

Further, the overarching message of the 90th-anniversary milestone is that global change begins at the individual level. Brahma Kumaris leaders highlight that sustainable community harmony cannot exist without individual mental peace.

By shifting from “Who am I in the world?” to “Who am I eternally?”, individuals unlock a grounded perspective: recognizing themselves as peaceful souls and children of God.

Members of the public across Kenya are invited to attend the nearest Brahma Kumaris branch on September 21 to experience the meditation sessions firsthand.
